Springtime in Goosetown
Benefit for the Emma Goldman Clinic
Friends of the Emma Goldman Clinic are invited to attend its
Spring Benefit on Friday, May 30th at the home and garden of Joy and
David on Bloomington Street, in historic Goosetown (contact us to RSVP
and for address). This fundraising event is from 5-7pm. 7 items
will be raffled off at this event.
“We’re excited that Joy and David have welcomed us into their home
and garden for this event,” said Karen Kubby, Executive Director of the
clinic. The Emma Goldman Clinic is a non-profit feminist reproductive
health care facility that has been serving the region for 35 years.
Hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and non-alcoholic
beverages will be complimentary. “We are very happy to have the
community come together for this event. We have had donations from so
many local businesses, artists, and community members. It’s great to
know the clinic has this much support.”
This event will host a “feminist raffle”
featuring 7 different raffle prizes. Prizes are outlined in detail at
www.emmagoldman.com. Tickets can be distributed amongst all the
